What is Aikido and do we relate to the Wounded Warrior Benefit?

Aikido (Ai - Harmony, Ki - Spirit, Do - Way) is an effective form of self-defense derived from Japanese Bujutsu (Warrior Ways).  Recently, Aikido is enjoying as much popularity in the western world as it is in Japan, where it is held in high esteem.  Aikido has a history of over 800 years. Originating in the hostile conditions of war battlefields and adapted and modified to suit our modern style of living. Most Aikidoists recognize Morihei Ueshiba as the founder of this modern day style.  Aikido is effective for men, women, adults and children, because Aikido does not rely on the victim.

Our association with the mind set of peace and harmony directly relate to our goal of providing a wonderful learning experience for our nations wounded warriors interested in martial arts training.  As a martial art of peace and healing we cannot think of a better way to blend the abilities of various martial systems into a weekend long seminar of extrodinary learning and talent.

Please join us to benefit a worthy cause and experience world class training from four very different martial viewpoints and warrior's !

Proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior fund.
